Good stuff.

Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday. ~Don Marquis

Procrastination, thy name is Bliss.

Since I want to write, but I apparently can't get my act together to write about knitting, I'm going to take a page from Big Alice's blog and make a list of Random Things I Like:

  • airplanes
  • the smell of snow (yes, it has one)
  • a good, hard rain
  • Ambrosia yarn
  • online shopping
  • Big Love
  • stargazer lilies
  • cream soda
  • bowling
  • the smell of hazelnut coffee
  • really hot baths
  • fresh asparagus
  • hot water bottles
  • size 0 knitting needles
  • really good caramel
  • sleeping cats
  • fountain pens
  • sour cherries
  • rocky beaches
  • the Heavenly Bed at the Westin
  • double moss stitch

It's good to see you posting. And lists are good. Yes, snow does smell. And so do natural bodies of water. And rivers and streams. Arizona girls notice these things. And I'm not talking about stagnant water smells, or anything like that. Pure nature does have its own fragrance, which artificial things like laundry detergents really can't match, as much as they like to advertise they do. Have a great week!

Got some great likes in that list! Love the hat in your post below - great colour. Where did you get the "head" that is modeling the hat? I need to get me one of those since I have no live models...

Hi Pat, Hi Shelley!

I got the styrofoam head at Sally Beauty supply for about $3.00. Unfortunately it's not as big around as my own giant head so I can't really use it for blocking like I'd hoped, but it's great for displaying hats and taking pictures.

Hey, Bliss! It was a pleasure meeting you at the Jeopardy! audition yesterday. There's a discussion thread going on the Sony Pictures message board about the Atlanta session. Come chat with everybody, I'd love to know your impressions of the tryout a day later. Take care, hope to hear from you!
